We’ve built an inclusive and highly collaborative culture that brings out the best in everybody. We share our successes. We encourage continuous learning and actively work together to inspire innovative thinking and continuously evolve our designs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented UX Designer to join our ambitious and talented team at an exciting time as we continue to grow our business.

About the role

User Experience and Service Design is increasingly at the forefront of business strategy as organisations integrate technology to improve service delivery and develop closer relationships with customers. If you’re excited by the potential that a flawless blend of technology and design can bring, then we have an opportunity that we think you’ll enjoy!

Working collaboratively with our design and development teams, as well as on your own, you will be involved in all aspects of the UX design process, from discovery to delivery, carrying out user research, UX architecture, interface design and usability testing, building websites, web applications and mobile apps for our clients.

What does the right person mean to us?

You will be a confident individual with a passion for exploration and a firm belief in the potential for others to help you develop your ideas.

You will be a critical thinker and problem solver, able to effectively multi-task while always remaining calm and constructive. You work tirelessly to find the best outcome for your client - from asking lots of questions to looking at problems from multiple viewpoints and never, ever settling.

You are a confident and articulate oral and written communicator – adept at weeding out jargon and presenting ideas in audience appropriate styles and language.

You thrive on variety and pull learning from one project to another to constantly raise the game and delight your client.

You are hungry and pro-active about staying ahead of the technology curve.

You love being part of a team – you take responsibility and are accountable, willing to help where necessary and enjoy celebrating team success.

You’ll be able to:

  • Conduct and plan UX research, including collaborative design workshops, interviews, online surveys, heuristic reviews, competitor/market audits, content analysis, analytics reviews, card sorting and usability testing.
  • Create research reports, personas and customer / user journey maps and service blueprints
  • Provide consultation to project teams and clients on usability and accessibility best practice
  • Present user focused insight and recommendations in one-on-one and group situations to clients, agency team and partners

You’ll have:

  • An understanding of the role that content plays in the UX process and provide support / guidance where necessary
  • A proven track record of successfully delivered end-to-end UX projects
  • The ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • The ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest UX and UI trends, techniques, and technologies

We offer:

  • The understanding that work is just one part of your life
  • Investment in your learning, development and wellbeing
  • A competitive salary
  • A transparent profit share scheme
  • 26 days annual leave plus statutory UK bank holidays, incrementally increasing with tenure
  • A company pension scheme
  • A great culture and regular social activities
